SYNOPSIS:
In the documentary “All down in the air” Alitalia employees cried prophetically: “Today, we fall tomorrow you fall”. Now that tomorrow has arrived. For everyone. Suicide Italy starts from this consideration to undertake a journey of knowledge through the reasons of crisis. Among archive footage, demonstrations and a fiction section, we meet people who have been directly affected by this today. The actress Eugenia Costantini, plays herself and becoming progressively aware of this harsh reality, she leads us to a path of dramatic awareness too.

BIOGRAPHY:
Filippo Soldi has directed several short films for Rai Cinema, including My son, with Claudio Santamaria and Alba Rohrwacher, which was submitted to the International Rome Film Festival in 2008. Only five minutes with Valeria Golino, which was also selected in the quintet Davide di Donatello ( the Italian Oscar), won the NICE Festival USA in 2007. Taking the tram won the NICE USA in 2003 and it was played by Piera Degli Esposti and Gigio Alberti. Moreover Soldi has directed a documentary entitled Brothels for Combo Produzioni, with the participation of Piera Degli Esposti and Mariangela D'Abbraccio. It was submitted to the International Rome Film Festival in 2011. He also wrote Bakhita (2009) for RAIUNO, a miniseries directed by Giacomo Campiotti.
