SYNOPSIS:
On May 9th, 1978 Aldo Moro, the leader of the Christian Democrats, and Peppino Impastato, a young communist activist killed by the Mafia, died a few hours apart. Enzo, Vittorio and Antonio are three soldiers on their compulsory military service manning a checkpoint for Moros kidnapping on a desolate road no one uses, still in the dark about everything.

BIOGRAPHY:
Carmen Giardina studied acting at the Scuola del Teatro Stabile in Genova after which she pursued a career as a theatre and cinema director. She co-wrote Marco Carnitis film Sleeping Around. Her previous shorts, Turno di Notte (Nightshift) and La Grande Menzogna (The Great Lie), have received many awards both in Italy and abroad.
