BIOGRAPHY:
Andrea Zambelli was born in Italy in 1975. Working on creative documentary since 1997, his last movie “From Mother to Daughter (2008)”, was the only italian documentary to be selected in the Toronto International Film Festival 2008. Zambelli is part of a new generation of film makers that builts his visual approach on the specificity digital shooting: his camera arrives where a full troupe couldn’t, technical privilege that allows him to get closer to the subjects of his movies. Andrea Zanoli, 30 years old, works in the organization of the Bergamo Film Meeting festival, in particular he's part of the selection committee for the documentaries section "Visti da vicino". He's involved in the project "Premio Avanti" as a selector of film of new italians authors coming from different national festivals. He works as a film maker and documentarist for Lab80 film and also in an audiovisual production company.
