SYNOPSIS:
Doctor Mario Melazzini got ALS, an incurable disease which slowly paralyzes your entire body until death. He thinks the best solution is to commite suicide, but the day before he asks himself: is this what I want? Confused he retreats to the Alps, where something happens between his soul and the beauty of the mountains. He rethink his whole life and does something impossible, that is normal: he lives. The story of 7 days and 7 nights of his life as a doctor, who, thanks to the pain, rediscovered being a man: work, love, friendship. «Because there is only one incurable thing: my will to live».

Emmanuel Exitu, a self-taught person, was born in Bologna. In Rome he was a dialogue writer, adapter, story editor, screenwriter for different tv projects, dramatist for the Theatre of Documents founded by Luciano Damiani, Luca Ronconi and Giuseppe Sinopoli. From his first novel “La Stella dei Re” he adapted the script for the film with the same title on the air on tv RAI 1 in January 2007 with 23% of share. “GREATER - defeating Aids” first documentary filmwon the Babelgum Contest in Cannes 2008 chosed by Spike Lee among 3 documentary films the most rated by Babelgum users in Cannes.
