SYNOPSIS:
Never Without is a documentary film that, through the combination of drama and comedy, speaks about the sexuality in old age. Famous and not famous names are mixed in this survey, it’s developed “on the road”, in senior citizen’s centers, in people’s houses; the aim is to try to understand if and how our grandparents make love. Secrets, confessions, intimate moments and amazing characters, it is ideal for both crying and laughing about sex and age. Interviews to: Paolo Villaggio, Lino Banfi, Sandra Milo and many others, everything is bounded by lyrical moments, with the warm voice of the director Giuliano Montaldo.

BIOGRAPHY:
Alessandro Tamburini was born in Faenza (RA) on 20/10/1984. when he was very young, he started to shoot the first short-films in video8. in 2008, he joined the centro sperimentale di cinematografia. during the years spent at the Centro sperimentale di cinematografia, he directed several short films, among which there was an adaptation of the play Romeo and Juliet, with Marco Bellocchio, called "The Tenant (l'inquilino)", that he directed and played with carola clavarino. another one, called "September's end (fine settembre)", was a raicinema co-production, with Ivano Marescotti and Silvia Cohen, and shot in Brisighella. Ciro Zecca Ciro zecca was born in Sondrio on 18/06/1987. When he was sixteen, he went to Rome. He enrolled at the state institute for cinematography and television, where he graduated by producing a documentary film about suicides in Valtellina. In 2007, he worked at “Fabrica” for a year, Benetton group’s communication research centre, as author and documentary film maker. In 2008, he attended the course for film producers at the Centro sperimentale di cinematografia in Rome. During those three years, he won several prizes; he was funded by the government for 40.000 euros, thanks to which he made a short film with Giorgio Pasotti.
