SYNOPSIS:
In the beginning of 21st century, a group of homeless people found refuge in the German evangelistic graveyard in Praga – Strašnické. Among them there is a couple of eternal fiancés: Jana, in Christ’s age, 33 years old, and Jan, 50 years old. By the time Jana and Jan are settling down in the neo-gothic tomb the police invades the graveyard… The film is made as an observational documentary between the years 2007 and 2011.

David Vondráček is a journalist, editor, screenwriter, and director. He started to work as a journalist, editor, and screenwriter for journalism programs and he chooses taboo subjects such as politics, sociology, and other taboos. The film Love in the Grave was made without any state or financial support aside from the independent firm Yekot Film. This film was presented at the International Film Festival of Karlovy Vary with great success.
