Francesco Mancini was born in Rome in 1967. He graduated from the Institute of Cinematography and Television Roberto Rossellini in Rome. He has worked as a photographer for about thirty years in various fields such as reportage, still life, and portrait besides working in audiovisual sectors. Between 2014 and 2016, after gainign some experiences in music videos and short films, he made his first film/documentary called "The Story of Sakiko".
