BIOGRAPHY:
La bici has been inspired by a letter sent to the Italian newspaper called La Repubblica. La bici, divided in three syllables, allows for a word game possible only in the Italian language between bi-ci (bike) and abc. In this case, this refers to the abcs or fundamentals of human behavior. In the letter I was reading, the writer told about a personal experience that highly symbolized the historical period Italy is going through. The abc which the title is referring to, hints at the main rules of civil society which are fading out based on reciprocal support and mutual trust, devoid of any social, racial, and religious conditioning.
