BIOGRAPHY:
Born, 1964, Paolo Consorti is an italian artist, performer and director. Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata, after some cinematographic collaborations that see him alongside Oscar winner Sergei Bondarchuk, debuted in 1991 with a solo exhibition at the Palazzo Ducale in Urbino. In 1992 the philosopher Hans-Georg Gadamer compares Consorti for the "contrast between pictorial and dramatic balance of modern and post-modern" to troubled Bosch. In 1994 the art critic Pierre Restany recognizes the work of Paolo Consorti "the emergence of a post-modern style of the sublime." In 2008 he is among the Top 100 of Flash Art on young Italian art. In 2011 he was invited to the 54th International Biennial of Art in Venice. Also exposes the Macro and the Exhibition Palace in Rome, at the Palace of Papesse of Siena, the Madre Museum in Naples, Teatro Margherita di Bari and the Palazzo Reale in Milan. Still in 2011, the rai 3 produces the documentary film "Rebellio patroni." In 2012 he directed his first feature film "Il Sole dei Cattivi" with Nino Frassica and Luca Lionello.
