SYNOPSIS:
Trieste. A hot summer’s night and two burglars climb through a window into an apartment. Inside, a woman lies sleeping. The next morning the woman goes to report the theft. A surreal atmosphere pervades the city. In the streets only foreigners of various different ethnic groups are to be seen. This shortfilm tries to explore violence among humans caused by racism.

BIOGRAPHY:
Stefano Viali made his debut in the theater as a director and actor in 1982. He directed and starred in many shows and in several film and television productions, in Italy and abroad. Teacher of actor training and dramaturgy of the staging. David di Donatello 2005 for the short film "Lotta Libera". Special mention 2007 at the Nastri d'Argento awards for the short "Forme". He is preparing his first feature film.
