SYNOPSIS:
Prague in the year 1983, amidst the Communist-imposed normalization, a suffocating atmosphere ruled over by the secret police, 17-year old student Micky and his best friend David share a dream to put together a band, even if they dont have the slightest clue as to what kind of music to play. Once they hear The Clashs London Calling, their path is clear and their revolt against authority, social norms, and adult responsibility has begun. They form a provocative punk band and start to write the history of the punk movement in communist Czechoslovakia. A comedy drama about coming of age, searching for your models and values, and the real meaning of the punk slogan No future.

BIOGRAPHY:
Czech director and cinematographer. Born in 1964 in Prague. He graduated from FAMU's cinematography department in 1997. He was involved as a cameraman in a number of major films, including Tom Tykwer's “Perfume” (2006). He works most frequently with David Ondříček, with whom he shot both “Loners” (2000) and “Grandhotel” (2006); he was nominated for Czech Lion awards for both these projects. He also filmed videos for the bands Buty, November 2nd, and Clou, and he has shot more than 200 commercials since 1997. “DonT Stop”, for which he also wrote the screenplay, is his feature film debut.
