The director and actress Elisabetta Rocchetti won in 2003 the notable Globo D'Oro Award for best upcoming actress for the feature film "L'imbalsamatore" by Matteo Garrone. Among her latest film works as an actress:"Il Cartaio ("The Card Player") by Dario Argento; "L'amore è eterno finchè dura" by Carlo Verdone, "Ti amo in tutte le lingue del mondo" by Leonardo Pieraccioni, and "Piano 17" (Floor 17") by Manetti Bros. "Diciottanni - il mondo ai miei piedi" is her first feature film as a director.
