SYNOPSIS:
Bloody revenge of a young tailor during the peasant revolt of Bronte, Sicily. Salvo, the land keeper, is at the vanguard of the revolt who wants to possess everything of the former baron, even something he can not have: his elegance, his style. Salvo decides not to kill Tailor in return for a beautiful tailor-made, cut to fit jacket. During Tailor’s sewing work, some tragic memories come to surface, memories of a man tortured by unknowns. That is when Tailor finally reacts and challenges the unrestrained anger of the campier. In an amazing duel between the two, in the bloody and wild sun of Sicily, the Tailor pieces together the most tragic events of his life, starting up his old vengeance plan.

BIOGRAPHY:
Born in Palermo in 1975, Giovanni La Parola moved to Bologna to attend Dams University (Arts, Music and Performing Art department), taking a stab at documentaries, short movies and video art selected and chosen for art exhibitions and film festivals. In 2001, he made the short movie “Still Life” awarded by Emilia Romagna and the Istituto Luce with the prestigious Cesare Zavattini Prize. With this money, Giovanni La Parola made his next short movie “The Boxer” (2004). Thanks to this latest short movie, an independent producer decided to help with “tragic-commedy” and “E se domain.” He makes his cinema debut with great interest and awards from European, American and Asian film festival. The short “Cusutu n’ Coddu” (“Cut to Fit”) has been created thanks to Premio Nuove Arti of Fondazione del Monte of Bologna and Ravenna.
