SYNOPSIS:

For Cocchi, a young employee, being fired is the first in a series of terrible, nasty, kinky and creepy things that happen to him during one hot summer day in Rome. After his car breaks down in suburbs, he enters the only open place that he has found on his way: a strange nightclub called “Betty Boop”…

BIOGRAPHY:
Matteo Scifoni was born in Rome in 1982. He graduated from Roma Tre University with a thesis on Paul Thomas Anderson’s work and is a self-taught writer/director. He began making short films at the age of fourteen. An ex-film critic, he wrote for several years for Italian cinema magazines Duel, Duellanti and Nick. In 2005, he published his first novel, Strani giorni (Terre Sommerse Editore). He is currently developing his first feature film.
