SYNOPSIS:
Autobiography of the Italian University is the first group photo of our universities. A journey from the North to the South of Italy, where people fight everyday against the lack of funds, the indifference of media and of governments. These isolated people regularly find themselves in the streets, fighting for their rights.
Deans, professors emeritus, maîtres à penser as well as students are all at the forefront, actively engaged in their own university areas. It is the portrait of a single and large organism that includes contradictions, anomalies, social differences and beliefs in changes.

BIOGRAPHY:
Piero Balzoni was born in Rome on May 15th, 1980. He works as director and screenwriter for films and television. He graduated in 2005 in Communication Sciences at the University of Rome La Sapienza. He was winner of the prize Minerva dOro at La Città In Corto Festival, with the short film I tre Lati del Cerchio, also winner of the prize Roma Videoclip 2009 and finalist at Cinecittà Holding Festival. He realized documentaries, short films, commercials and video clips for several Italian productions. From 2011 hes collaborated with Taodue Film.
