SYNOPSIS:
What about Alice? is a reinterpretation of Carrolls book, which is an irreverent and queer-dark version of an aged Alice, who is now far away from her Wonderland. The video begins with a short clip of the famous story and continues with the strong symbolic message that the Director wants to convey through four disturbing visual chapters, which turn upside-down the typical icon of the happy childhood.

Daniele Sartori, director and actor, established the production company L.I.V. Project. He has written and directed the award-winning short movies "L'Appuntamento" and Doris Ortiz. He has directed the commercial of the Queer Lion Award, a collateral award at the Venice Film Festival, where he attended as a juryman. He has directed What about Alice?, a video-art installed at the 3D Gallery in Venice.
