SYNOPSIS:
Pino Masciari was a calabrian businessman. He owned a company with more 100 employees and a increasing turnover. Then criminal organizations showed up, but Masciari didn’t give in to the continuous blackmail and in 1997 he charged his persecutors. Because of the danger and all the threats he was facing, Masciari and his family were assigned to a special protection program by the Home Office and he became a justice witness. He chose to give up his lifeto be a model citizenin the land of ‘ndrangheta and pursue a long and painful fight for legality.

Alessandro Marinelli gradueted at N.U.C.T and attended fine Arts Academy in Rome. In 2007 his short “Hollywood” won a special mention in the Videorome section at the Arcipelago Film Festival. In 2008 his videoclip for Cayorosso “Penisola dei famosi” was finalist for both Italian Videoclip Award. In 2009 “Rosso di Sara”, finalist at Riff, won at Corto Nero Festival in Naoles. In 2010 “Shatten” won the best cinematography award at the Short and Culture Festival in Manfredonia.
