SYNOPSIS:
Laura, a researcher at a medical university, is back in Italy after 3 years studying in Belgium. She has an important interview in Rome for a job teaching at a university. Looking for accommodation, after she faces problems, she finds a place to stay sharing an apartment with Vanessa, a girl who won a famous TV reality show and is willing to be a showgirl. Laura and Vanessa are opposites in culture and lifestyle. When Laura finds out that her job had been given to another girl who had a recommendation, she is furious and vents her frustration at Vanessa. Through this argument, Laura learns an unexpected truth and, thanks to Vanessas help, Laura gets the job.

BIOGRAPHY:
Max Nardari is a director, author, screenwriter, and songwriter. Max received a degree in Literature and Cinema in Bologna with a thesis on Pedro Almodovar’s films. In Rome, he graduated in “commercial film clip editing” at NUCT in Rome-Cinecittà and in screenwriting at RAI Television. In 2003, he founded Reset Production, a small production specialized in short films and music clips (www.resetmedia.it). He has produced more than 50 music videos and written songs for various Italian artists. In May 2011, he was presented “Lui e l’altro” by Stuart Milk, counselour of Barack Obama, at Museo Macro in Rome. In 2012, “One too many” is the second installment of a trilogy with a social background. Max is about to shoot his first feature film co-produced with Italy/Russia.
