SYNOPSIS:
Medè opens a window into the complex world of juvenile delinquency in Naples. Matteo directed the documentary "United We Stand - A journey across America during the days of the War in Iraq which was presented at the 60th edition of the Venice International Film Festival. The film was also awarded with an `Honorable Mention at 2004 New York International Independent Film Festival. In 2008 he directed the documentary Change - Obama McCain - the 40 days that changed America distributed by Cinecittà Luce. Hes CEO of the production company Feel Film and works both for cinema and television.
Francesco Ricci Lotteringi was born in Dublin (Ireland) in 1983 but grew up in Rome where he graduated in Communication Studies in 2007 with a thesis about the contribution of photography to the documentation of history. After attending the Roma School of Photography he moved to New York City where he worked for MILK Studios as fashion photographer. In 2009 he returned to Italy and worked for two years as filmmaker and photographer for tv and advertisement between Milan and Rome. In 2012 he directed "Medè (Mayday)" with Matteo Barzini and his first short movie "Halina".
