BIOGRAPHY:
Ása Hjörleifsdóttir is an Icelandic writer and director, he graduated with a Film MFA program at Columbia University in New York. Ása wrote, directed and edited numerous shorts, most notably her Columbia thesis film Ástarsaga (Love Story), which screened in the international competition at the 2013 Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival. Ása is currently developing her first feature film, The Swan, an adaptation of the critically acclaimed Icelandic novel by Guðbergur Bergsson.
