SYNOPSIS:
Ana is 28. She feels useful an satisfied in her routine work helping others. Nevertheless, outside of her working day, Ana has serious problems relating to people. She is socially awkward and even aggressive towards those people closest to her and whom se loves. Ana cant control this behaviour or her emotions, so she suffers constantly and doesnt feel at ease with herself and with others. But her self-destructive, self-harming behaviour only isolates her more and more. Ana is unaware that she suffers from what psychiatrists call Borderline Personality Disorder.

BIOGRAPHY:
Fernando Franco has been working for more than twelve years as an editor of feature films, such as Pablo Berger's Blancanieves (Snow White, for which he was nominated for the Goya) and No tengas miedo (Don't be Afraid) by Montxo Armendáriz. Meanwhile, he has developed his own projects as director of six short films and several music videos. He is head of the editing department at ECAM. La Herida is his first feature film.
