SYNOPSIS:
After decades of sold out shows and international recognition, musician Gilberto Gil embarks on a new kind of world tour through the southern hemisphere. From Bahia, he travels to the land of the Aborigines of Australia and the townships of South Africa, ending in the Brazilian Amazon region, promoting the power of cultural diversity in a globalized world.

Pierre-Yves Borgeaud, performer, compositore, regista, cameraman e montatore, ha prodotto il film Super 8 e fondato la Momentum Production come cornice creativa per le sue esplorazioni visive. Nel 1989, ha scritto e realizzato il cortometraggio in 16 mm Encoire une Histoire damour, selezionato al Festival di Locarno. Nel 2003, il suo primo lungometraggio iXieme: diario di un prigioniero ha vinto il Pardo dOro nella Video Competition del Festival di Locarno. Pierre-Yves Borgeaud, performer, composer, director, cameraman and editor, realized the movie Super 8 and founded the Momentum Production as a framework for his various creative visual explorations. In 1989 wrote and directed the short 16 mm movie Encoire une Histoire d'amour, selected for the Locarno Film Festival. In 2003, his first feature film iXieme: diary of a prisoner won the Golden Leopard in Video Competition at the Locarno Film Festival.
