SYNOPSIS:
If you saw Lupe in her bathrobe and slippers, stuck at home making pies, you would never imagine that back in the 80´s she was a famous pop-rock star. She is now agoraphobic and lives wholly dependent on her mother Paquita, a superstitious Mexican woman, and has a teenage son, Pancho who hates her.

Written and directed by Beatriz Sanchis as her first feature film, her works as filmmaker include four shorts, four art-video and two music clips that have reaped more than 40 international awards in the most prestigious film festivals, including Berlinale Generation (My Other Half) and a Goya nomination as Best Short Documentary (The Class).
