SYNOPSIS:
Brothers Jacek and Tomek live in a high-rise, one of many in the concrete housing estate. Tomek suffers from the Savant syndrome and Jack works at home as a webmaster. Usually they are inseparable and only when Jack needs to go for a business meeting he leaves his brother with the repulsive Mrs. Kwiatkowska, their neighbour. The new tenant living opposite the boys is very mysterious and seems to be something of a wild creature. Her names Magda. She seldom leaves her flat, despises people and going out is unbearable for her. One day, Jacek needs to go to another town and asks Magda to stay with his sick brother. This is the beginning of a friendship and at the same time the beginning of their end.

BIOGRAPHY:
Bodo Kox, director and screenwriter was born in 1977 in Wrocław. Hes strongly associated with independent cinema which all of his films to date have represented. Has received numerous awards at independent film festivals in Poland and abroad. He also has experience as an actor. He was commended for his roles in films like Nosebleed (Krew z nosa) and Fallow Land (Ugór) .He has studied at the directing department at the Leon Schiller State High School of Film, Television, and Theatre in Łodz. He completed in the Development Lab's feature program at the Wajda School. The Girl from the Wardrobe is his cinema debut.
