BIOGRAPHY:
Anisa Sabiri was born in 1991 in Dushanbe, Tajic Republic. Since childhood she wrote poems and stories, dreamed to be a director. After school, at the insistence of her parents, she entered the Moscow University of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs, graduated with honors in the rank of a senior lieutenant. Worked as a travel guide for a few years and wrote or took photos in her spare time. In 2016, she participated in a workshop led by Fred Kelemen and Irakliy Kvirikadze at The Moscow School of New Cinema. She directed the short film "Redemption" (2017).
