BIOGRAPHY:
Threes Anna is best known for her work for the renowned theatre company Dogtroep for which she wrote and directed more than fifty performances. In 2007, Threes made her first feature film, The Bird Cant Fly, for which she won the Best Dutch Debut and the Special Jury Award at Sofia International Film Festival. For Silent City, which first appeared as a novel in 2006, Threes Anna was inspired by her own exceptional first experiences in Japan during a theatre internship.
