SYNOPSIS:
Every weekend in Shanghai’s famous Peoples’ Park, parents hang posters to match-make their unwed children. This is the story of an overly ambitious mother trying too hard to find the perfect wife for her son. But, when true love is at stake, sometimes even the best-laid plans have a funny way of coming undone.

BIOGRAPHY:
Craig Rosenthal has written and directed two short films. “The Trainee” (2006) in Singapore and “Shanghai Love Market” (2011) in China. These award-winning short film were hits at film festivals worldwide and were later sold to distributors. Currently he is focused on developing features that tell Asian stories. One film under development is a drama called “The Shanghailanders”.
