SYNOPSIS:
A week before Easter a great actor disappears from the set where an historic movie is shot. A private detective comes discreetly entrusted of the fact. Since the beginning of the inquiry he has the disturbing perception to be somehow involved in the previous stories of the disappeared one. The places, among which a former factory of chocolate, where years before a child was dead in mysterious circumstances, are soaked with esoteric signs. The Man, in the spasmodic yearning of omnipotence, clashes with the proud reaction of the Nature (the Woman), not at all willing to accept his domain.

Giuseppe Varlotta has experienced the most different languages of art: architecture, theater, multimedia installations, cinema. In the his first short “Nanà” (2004) he has directed Mario Monicelli, Felice Andreasi and Bebo Storti. He realizes music videos for Target Music (Battiato and Ligabue's musical label). His first feature film “Zoè” (2010) includes in the cast Francesco Baccini, Serena Grandi, Andrea G. Pinketts, Bebo Storti and Camillo Grassi. He has cooperated to the movie “Reality” directed by Matteo Garrone. In September 2015 he has started shooting his second feature film, “Beyond the mist – The mistery of Rainer Merz”, completed in 2017.
