Thousands of people were forced to evacuate after the explosions in Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, triggered by one of the most powerful earthquakes ever and tsunami waves of up to 40 meters. BIOGRAPHY:
Born in Portugal, in 1983, Patricia Neves started working as a journalist in 2004 and lives in Macau, China, since 2008. She followed the tsunami aftermath in Japan and in 2012 she went back to the country to film Nuclear Empire, her first documentary. She also published a book in 2014 with the same title.
