SYNOPSIS:
Only fear kills the dreams, and when an entire population becomes aware of this, things change. The documentary MinoTawra (referring to the Greek myth of the Minotaure and the Arabic word Tawra, that means Revolution) retraces the fundamental steps of the events that have recently shocked Tunisia. This documentary tells beyond the main events, the fears and hopes that have been generated and the future prospectives. The revolution is still going on and it’s still at risk. What will come out of it? And what about this contagious Global Movement?

BIOGRAPHY:
Kamikairy Fares is an italo-palestinian. He has a diploma in classical studies, a degree in Cinema at TorVergata University. Then he obtained another qualification as Director at the Accademia del Cinema e della Televisione in Cinecittà, Rome. He is the author of the short Self Service First Award at the Festival Arcipelago for the category “New Italians”. He’s the co-writer of Innocenze Perdute finalist at the 2012 Nastri d’Argento and he's the author of the short “Un gioco di cui tutti conoscono la fine”, unpublished. Now he’s working on a new documentary on the emigration from North Africa.
