SYNOPSIS:
When their mother goes missing in Spirit Lake, three half-sisters travel home to settle her affairs. The youngest sister, June, a documentary filmmaker, captures their bittersweet homecoming. But when the sisters jokingly summon a local ghost, their relationship begins to unravel and they find themselves drawn deeper and deeper into the true mystery of the lake.

BIOGRAPHY:
Sarah recently directed her first feature "The Midnight Swim". Sarah co-wrote and produced the ensemble apocalypse comedy "Goodbye World".Her next project is "The Colony", a sci-fi thriller, which is scheduled to shoot in the June 2015. Her award-winning short film The Sirens received the special jury prize for best screenwriting from the DreamAgo Foundation. Sarah works as a screenwriter in Los Angeles. Her script The Colony is currently a semi-finalist for the Nicholls Fellowship. She recently finished an adaptation of Paul Therouxs chilling short story, Monkey Hill. In 2012 she co-wrote the romantic comedy, Heartbreaking Bitch. Sarah co-founded the multidisciplinary design studio Friend of a Friend (foaf.la), where she manages all aspects of production and post-production, including VFX, editorial, and graphic design. She was born in Fort Collins, Colorado and studied Philosophy at Columbia University, where she graduated with honors.
