Originally hailing from Carpi in Northern Italy, moved to London in 2009, after graduating in New Technologies for the Arts, at the Fine Arts of Venice,
Italy. Four years ago, he began shooting videos, short films and commercials with OnePlus smartphones, starting from the OnePlus One and moving on with its successors, producing internationally acclaimed short films such as “History Lesson”, “Plastic Garbage – Scourge of the Seas” and “Lightning”.
He works as independent producer and director in the commercial field, producing ads and commercials for well established organisations and high profile companies such as OnePlus, NHS Blood and Transplant, Directors UK, Agatha Christie Ltd and Victor.
Beside the commercial work, Giacomo is committed to producing independent films and videos that focus on important issues, such as “Stand Up”, with the aim to use cinema to make people think.
Considering Cinema as a pure form of expression, capable of awaking minds, Giacomo is now a passionate ambassador of “mobile cinema”, and supporter of the idea that smartphones is nowadays the most powerful tool for creative minds.
