SYNOPSIS:
Rome, 1953. Alexandre, wartime fascist leader, now lives with her daughter Marina in a fournished room. Alexandre wants Marina to marry a young architect who works to the reconstruction of Rome but Marina has a strange attraction to an older man, Mr Di Porto, a Jew who lived
through the experience of a concentration camp. It’s the beginning of a journey through grief.

BIOGRAPHY:
Emanuela Rossi studied History of cinema and Direction of actors at the University of Bologna and in Paris. She worked in Milan as a free-lance journalist in women’s magazines like Marie Claire, Vogue Home; later in Rome started her experience as a Tv programme author and Tv fiction script writer. In 2007 she directed her first short film “Il bambino di Carla” (“Carla’s child”), that won Arcipelago Film Festival in Rome and was selected in international festivals. In 2008 she directed the short film “The entryphone” (Torino Film Festival 2008).
