BIOGRAPHY:
Puja Maewal is a writer/director with a B.A. from Yale and an MFA from UCLA. She directed JAYA as a Fulbright Scholar in India. JAYA was a Semi-finalist in the Student Academy Awards, a Jury Award Winner at the Directors Guild of America Student Awards, and a Student BAFTA Finalist. Recently, Pujas feature-length screenplay of JAYA was a Quarter-finalist in the BlueCat Screenplay Competition.
