SYNOPSIS:
A tribute to Franco Brocani, an Italian experimental filmmaker. Brocani’s testimony is the background of the current dialogue concerning the present Italian situation, the celebration of the 150th anniversary of this country and also of contemporary cinema. What it means to live in Italy nowadays, not only as artists but also as active citizens; the meaning of a backwarded country like Italy, which chases other international powers. The cinema as quantity and quality of imagination, points of view, and horizons. Eight characters take part on these topics, as if they were colonels on the bridge deck of the cultural stage: actors, politicians, writers, authors.
