SYNOPSIS:
A striking micro-tragedy concentrated in a few dialogues to describe a truth, perhaps, bigger than death. Francesca reflects on herself and concludes bitterly that she has achieved professional success at the expense of her family. It will be a simple phone call, probably made in a state of grace that rarely happens, that Francesca can awaken in her loved ones some “values” that in everyday life grayness had evaporated.

Mariarosy Calleri is a film and television writer, director and producer based in Rome, Italy. Her short films and documentaries have won prizes and awards at international film festivals. Her work has been recognized by the American academic world as an important contribution to “The Female Gaze in Cinema”. In 2009 she was appointed Ambassador and Mentor of female small enterprises of Lazio Region at the European Commission. She teaches Filmmaking and Dital Media at the Loyola University Chicago - John Felice Rome Center.
