BIOGRAPHY:
Barbara Miller was born in Zurich, Switzerland. She has studied at the University of Zurich cinema, philosophy and psychology and she has graduated with a degree in law. She worked for two years as assistant director and editor for the Oscar-nominated documentary War Photographer by Christian Frei. She has been working as a freelance documentary director for Swiss National TV since 2001. She has directed more than ten 50-minute documentaries, acclaimed by critics, about many subjects concerning social field. Forbidden Voices is her first long-lasting documentary.
