SYNOPSIS:
Food is an animated documentary that features interviews with a wide variety of eaters from around the world. Ranging from vegetarians, vegans, pescetarians to some seriously dedicated carnivores, the conversation raises many substantial issues about the environment and modern life. By pairing real interviews with stop-motion animation, the film presents a group of edible characters discussing themselves.

BIOGRAPHY:
Siqi Song is a director and animator currently based in Los Angeles. Born China, she holds a BA in Animation and a MA in Media Arts from China Central Academy of Fine Arts. She is now pursing her MFA in Experimental Animation at California Institute of the Arts. She is an enthusiast of animation, and deeply in love with the form of stop-motion animation. She likes to make tiny stuff and bring them to life.
