SYNOPSIS:
Eros tells the journey of three activists of the Occupied Valle Theatre through Europe, a continent struggling with recession and the efforts to survive it. The trip links the opposite sides of a system on the edge of a collapse: from Athens, where a group of artists occupied the Empros theatre, to Frankfurt, where thousands of activists plan to block the ECB activities for a day. Eros is polymorphous, fluid and nomadic. It visually links the reportage of the travel with footage from different sources and experiences. Eros is the passion of moving people, ideas and visions.

Berardo Carbonis first works are Roma, In quel niente, featuring the former President of the Italian Republic, C.A. Ciampi and Buco nellacqua, this one shot in Cuba together with Sandra Milo. Another interesting work is Shooting Silvio, (2007) produced and distributed thanks to crowd-funding, selected and awarded by several Festivals like Rome, Tiburon, Kiev, Annecy and acquired by 20th Fox and Sky Italy. In 2010 he directed VolaVola, the first feature film entirely shot in a virtual reality and presented at San Paolo Electronic Festival, Casino Luxembourg Forum d'Art Contemporain and Atopic Festival Geode Paris. VolaVola is a little masterpiece studied by international critics and researchers. He is currently working on the fiction movie Youtopia.
