Inspired by a true story, the film begins with the arrest of a boy and a girl (Antonio and Elena) both in shock and stoned by a mix of drugs and alcohol. The two guys are admitted to hospital where they both confess the murder of their friend Angela. A brutal murder and devoid of logic that will lead investigators to suspect that the two killers were not alone. Investigators soon discover a reality completely unknown to them: that of Satanism.

The Akram Tree

“The Akram Tree” is a journey through the personal and professional world of the british-bangladeshi coreographer and dancer Akram Khan. ‘My intelligence is in my body’ says Akram himself, a body here well represented by ‘Gnosis’, a pièce realized in collaboration with seven artists expressely discovered in different parts of the world. These traditions and experimentations from India, Japan, Pakistan, England, Egypt, Iraq and Bangladesh collaborate together to create a work between classic indian kathak and contemporary dance. The film portrays the story of this peculiar human and artistic adventure often transcending the narration for the sake of a more visionary look influenced by the location where the documentary has been shot: the futuristic and conflictive city of Abu Dhabi with its desertic and metaphysical surroundings.

He is estranged from his family, has hardly any friends, and his relationship with his wife has faded. Through drastic events, Hannes realizes that he has to adjust his life in order to help someone he loves. “Volcano” is a love story of someone who has to deal with the choices of the past and the difficulties of the present in order to embrace the future.

Laura, a researcher at a medical university, is back in Italy after 3 years studying in Belgium. She has an important interview in Rome for a job teaching at a university. Looking for accommodation, after she faces problems, she finds a place to stay sharing an apartment with Vanessa, a girl who won a famous TV reality show and is willing to be a showgirl. Laura and Vanessa are opposites in culture and lifestyle. When Laura finds out that her job had been given to another girl who had a recommendation, she is furious and vents her frustration at Vanessa. Through this argument, Laura learns an unexpected truth and, thanks to Vanessas help, Laura gets the job.

He chose to give up his lifeto be a model citizenin the land of ‘ndrangheta and pursue a long and painful fight for legality.

Mafia enriches itself in many ways, one of thees is the request of Pizzo, a sicilian slang term for protection money. The amount of business that pays this tax, to Cosa Nostra, are estimated around 80%.The extorters, ask to shopkeepers money for safety and protection and everybody passively agree to pay to avoid the black mail. During the last years something and one of the most important protagonist in this process of change has been a committee of young people called Addio pizzo (Goodbye protection money). The most important success has been the break of the wall of silence about the racket issue until yesterday considered a taboo.
