Four friends, at the threshold of their forties, try to understand the women’s world. Each one of them has, in his past, a personal history of ruins, scars or simple allergies to their old relationships. So their friendship has become a good alternative to relationships. Still their destinies, like the ones of any heterosexual adult man, is to try and relate with the feminine universe. A harder and harder task, that will lead our protagonists to experiment with absurd, comic or purely surreal situations involving possible fiancéés, girl friends or one night stands. Through their stories, we undercover the unmentionable over-anxieties and madnesses of the contemporary woman, and the impossibility for men to figure them out

Everyday Sunshine- The Story of Fishbone

The woman is undoubtedly the core of the tale, here in war, a victim and heroine at the same time; forced, violated, stricken in her deepest emotions by the loss of children, husbands, fathers and mothers but ready to face any difficulty, any struggle, even at the price of her own death.

Ali, a Jordanian Bedouin boy, embarks on a trip to the borders of Aqaba while on the other side, in Ilat, Noor, an Arab Israeli girl, travels with her parents. Ali and Noor’s destinies become entwined after a series of spontaneous events which lead to an inevitable encounter; still,
there are obstacles that stand in their way which they have to overcome.

The recently graduated Lorenzo Pierini faces a challenge: rebuild the rural hospital of Pirimiti, a little village in Malawi on the Jali road. World’s away from what he was used to, he faces this cultural exchange with enthusiasm to overcome the difficulties that he will inevitably encounter. The meeting of the architect’s rationality and generosity makes him want to give his Malawian workers something extra.

Un uomo una donna si preparano al matrimonio. Un gruppo di amici “o presunti tali” si riuniscono in una villa fuori città col pretesto di festeggiare l’addio al celibato di uno di loro. Tale incontro, amplificato dagli effetti allucinogeni degli stupefacenti, diventa cosi l’occasione per esternare le loro frustrazioni. Mediante un escamotage di scatole cinesi, la storia sottolinea le diverse psicologie dei personaggi in un caleidoscopio di vizi e virtù, dando allo spettatore una parte del racconto e lasciandogli intendere l’altra. Un percorso che corre sul filo della leggera distinzione tra realtà e fantasia, dove la violenza è legittimata nella misura in cui sembra vera.
