“Dave Grusin: Not Enough Time” is an elegant feature length documentary about one of the 20th Century’s most important music composers, known and loved all over the world. Grusin has been described as “flawless” by his peers and he had five simultaneous careers: composer, pianist, arranger, performer and Record Company Executive. Industry icons called on Dave when they needed something extraordinary: Barbra Streisand, Steven Spielberg, Sydney Pollack, to name only a few! With never-before-seen photos and concert footage, the film traces Dave’s meteoric rise from Colorado cowboy to global music star.

A documentation of one of the greatest photographers of the 20th century. Sisters, friends, wives and collaborators carry the plot of the film, returning to the origins of his work and life to figure out what we will probably never be able to understand: Why, and how, does one become an artist? What is hidden behind images? Where does this creative force come from?
