SYNOPSIS:
Drowned in her loneliness and yet fueled by her youthful rage, Jessica struggles between her job at the grocery store and the visits she pays her boyfriend Sami, imprisoned in Brest for petty theft. Someday soon, he’ll be released and will take her to Canada. Jessica has courage, and courage is what she’ll need when she falls into Simone’s trap.

After studying film at the university Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, Sophie Thouvenin became assistant director on fiction films, and then she directed documentaries. Canada is her first fiction short movie.
