SYNOPSIS:
Caldera is an animated short film about a young girl struggling with mental illness. The story follows her as she goes off her medication and leaves a bleak metropolis to immerse herself in a vibrant oceanic cove.

BIOGRAPHY:
Evan Viera is a filmmaker and composer living in Northampton, MA. He has worked on several short films as a sound designer, composer, and visual artist. Evan graduated from Hampshire College in 2006 with a short animated senior thesis entitled “Sycamore Eve” that won Best Animated Film in the Scene First Student Film Festival. “Sycamore” had an exciting festival life, screening internationally and showing at the notable VISIONFEST in 2007. "Caldera" is Viera’s first film out of college.
