SYNOPSIS:
Four Scandinavian boys look straight at the camera. They are dressed in their favourite football teams’ shirts and they look serious. They have been asked to name as many FIFA players as they can remember. The boys start off quickly: “Manuel Neuer, Medhi Benatia, Jérôme Boateng, Dante…” and the list goes on. As the boys start to struggle to remember additional names the viewer understands, this is not only about the game. It is about the soul and passion of these boys.

BIOGRAPHY:
Sophia Ehrnrooth has worked as a visual artist since graduating 1990 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki, Finland. In addition to her work in the field of visual arts and photography, she has filmed and produced several series of short story interviews on traditional wisdom between 2012 and 2014. In 2016, she was an Executive Producer in feature film Little Wing, which won the Taodue Golden Camera price in the Rome Film Festival 2016. Currently she is co-producing a feature length documentary on the Standing Rock protests from the indigenous women’s perspective. Dream of Championship (2017) is her debut directorial work.
