SYNOPSIS:
Lota and Tigist, two girls living in two different countries, Bangladesh and Ethiopia, are linked to each other by a similar difficult journey. They both come from rural areas and have faced either poverty or abuse. Therefore, running away is their only solution. Their next destinations are the metropolitans of Dhaka and Addis Ababa. They embark on parallel, incredibly harsh journeys through which they meet their destinies and hopes. Yet, despite their tough lives, they reveal an inner strength and great dignity. They come from poverty, fall into even worse conditions, but they never give up striving to improve their conditions. Both fight for a life that, maybe tomorrow, will become better.

BIOGRAPHY:
Marco Speroni started his career as an artist; then as of 1985, he directed many art and cultural documentaries produced by his own company, Officinema Productions, based in Parma (Italy). He moved to Rome and in 1996 got the Premio Solinas award for the Best Screenplay for "What's love got to do with it" based on which he made a movie which was selected for International Festivals, such as Locarno Film Festival (1997). Since 1998 he has collaborated with important Italian TV Networks such as Rai and Sky. He has directed "In Hell's Heart" (2011) a docufiction having been shot in a war zone in Congo, the documentary "Time to look at girls"(2014) and "2 Girls" (2016).
