Exactly seventy years after the birth of the vinyl record, Vinyl – Because vinyl loves music is the first completely Italian film dedicated to this wonderful support. The docufilm starts from Naples, the original capital of music and vinyl record in Italy, and through the testimonies of musicians, collectors, audiophiles, vendors, sociologists and fans is the story of an icon: the record, from registration to print, from distribution to purchase, from listening to its conservation.

BIOGRAPHY:
Fulvio Iannucci, graduated in Philosophy, was the first Professor to teach “Techniques for Advertising” in Italy, at the graduate program Communication Sciences at the University of Salerno. In 2012 he directed the web series “Boys & Girls” - written with Roger Rueff - and the animated television series “In Search of Sara J”. In 2014 he directed (with Miguel Rodriguez Arias) the docufilm “Francis from Buenos Aires”, a biography of Pope Bergoglio. In 2017 he directed (with Roly Santos) the documentary “Caffè sospeso/Coffe for all”, shot in Naples, New York and Buenos Aires. From May 1, the film is on the Netflix platform.
