SYNOPSIS:
No peace Without War explores the impossible life of a brother and a sister, Piotr and Ewa Sosnowski, descendants of a well off bourgeois polish family with hungarian origin. It is the story of a forgotten world that takes place behind the door of a two-rooms apartment in Cracow, Poland.

BIOGRAPHY:
Lorenzo Castore was born in 1973. He published two books: Nero (2004) and Paradiso (2006) and he won the Mario Giacomelli Prize (2003) and the Leica European Publishers' Award (2005). His main interests are life, memory and their more mysterious aspects in relation with individual stories and history. His works has been exhibited in many exhibitions all over Europe. No Peace Without War is his first film. Adam Cohen is a filmmaker and photographer born in New York City. His movies, broadcasted around the world by the Sundance Channel and WDR and screened in many Festivals & Museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Whitney Museum in NYC, focus on cities, memory and forgetting, history and entropy. He also prints from his films and exhibits in galleries all around the world.
