SYNOPSIS:
Apulia, Southern Italy, Summer 1956. At last Lucias prayers have been answered, she has finally convinced her father: Michele, a passionate communist on his deathbed, has actually asked for a Confession. Time is running out, Lucia must find a priest! In a sunburnt and archaic countryside, Lucia’s journey will take her far from her convictions and from her dying father.

BIOGRAPHY:
Marisa Vallone (Bari, 1986) began her career as a visual artist, art director and multimedia designer, participating to numerous international festivals with her video art projects and installations. After attending the Academy of Fine Arts, she turns to Cinema and attends the Film Direction Course at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, in which she made documentaries and short films.
"The carna trist." is her graduation film.
