This acclaimed Cuban poet’s film will set the pace for the showings of the thirteenth edition of the Rome Independent Film Festival. The film in question is the documentary “No Limits”, filmed by Armando Suarez Cobian in New York in 2013. It follows Alexandre Arrechea’s art career. Arrechea is a sculptor first awarded at the last Park Avenue Awards. The film is a journey to discover the most varied landscapes in which New Yorkers are the installations, using provocative reinterpretations of power. Suarez Cobian, has already collaborated on significant projects made in the U.S.A. (“Che” by Steven Sodenberg). The film shows the streets Manhattan and Brooklyn with a curious eye, bringing the viewer a vision of pure contemporary art. This film will be shown in theatre 1 on Sunday, March 16th at 20:10.
